Well, here we go, folks. The artist formerly known as "winterwings" is ~mode7overworld.

Why did I leave deviantART? Why did I delete my deviations and vacate this account? Two reasons, really. One being that my now ex-girlfriend was giving me an increasingly difficult time regarding my friendships and correspondences on this site, seeing how many of my friends were - gasp female. Second, a mixup between formatting a slave and master hard drive caused me to lose the original Photoshop and/or Illustrator source files that created much of the artwok here, and while I knew it was my own stuff, I had a real difficult time posting things on the internet that I did not have originals for.

Well, I guess there is a third reason. I was - and still am - frustrated with art. It's no longer fun for me, and I haven't created anything in a very long time. Because of this, my other account is pretty much as inactive as this one. Yeah, I gave up. And I withdrew from the art community pretty much cold turkey.

I'd write at length a bit more, but I'm feeling pretty sick at the moment, so I'm going to cut this short. I hope everyone is well, and are continuing to prosper in the things they enjoy.
